Hatching pullet eggs is bigger risk than over candling...

Don't be daft

I've hatched plenty of pullet eggs. Percentages may be off a little, but after they have been laying for 3-4 weeks I will set them

I just wonder if you can resist helping your precious Am chicks if they get stuck...

This is a more fair question. My gut reaction is no, but if one was zipped and stuck on day 21...

Pip w/no zip, or anything after day 23 is still a no. Shell death is easier than getting flocked

Quote: "Cuss"!?! Mama mia this is one of the most rood wored ever! (In Hebrew!)

There is a MOST rude word? I just group them into categories like "would I use them in front of my grandmother" to "would I use them in front of young children" to "would I use them with upper management" to "would I use them in hunting camp" to "would I use them at a hockey tournament".

I learned the most rude word yesterday
persimonysnickerdoodles or something like that. Sally was on a roll

So I have a sick chicken and am trying to decide whether to cull. Of course it's my pretty little wheaten Ameraucana that has a sinus infection and a swollen eye/face on one side. Must have developed while I was on vacation, so the whole flock is exposed. No one else has symptoms.

Started tylan 50 injections yesterday, not sure if she is responding yet. Not lethargic, breathing fine.

Thoughts?

Keep her apart from the rest, give her some extra vitamins, I have a poultry vitamins, that instead putting them in the drinking water,I put them in the feed. Give some nutrition food, crushed boiled egg, tuna fish, canned cod liver, and keep her warm. If it is Mycoplasma it could be a problem!
