French frogs

OK, I was turning eggs this evening, and I pulled an SC.

I candled a few, even though it's a day early. In most of the blue eggs the veining was readily apparent. In the cream or white eggs I had veining in at least half, the other half I could not tell. In the tan brown and dark brown eggs I couldn't see chit.

Is it normal to see the yoke still moving around and lose in the shell?

I wanted to share with you freaks first, because I think y'all understand me, and y'all be my peeps

Yes, it's normal to see the yolk still moving around... just be careful spinning the egg when candling early... one of the main reasons so many harp on early candling is it takes a couple more days for those veins to firm up... glad you're seeing development, don't give up on the others yet though... :thumbsup

What's your gut feeling on your BCM? I'm thinking of getting another flock soon, and I'm leaning towards Brian Parks, but he's in Oregon. Florida is a much shorter ship

I've seen some Brian Parks Marans eggs on Facebook. Beautiful! Are you looking for chicks or adults?
