See, that's all you had to say the first time. I'm not a mind reader like chicapee

Be careful, little bro

You know what I would do...

Too late. I gave #12 a bath, put it back in the bator to keep warm, pulled #13, doing fine, and grabbed the egg. Moistened the membrane and he popped out in my hand! Toes are curled, but looks good!

And it could have been my fault for opening after he had a good pip going, I do think that's why it got stuck. So far #14 is alert and well!! :weee

I had a bunch of online training today. Thank goodness for...Windows

I hate those days. Now I'm going to have to go back a ways and read.

ETA: I meant online training. I definitely appreciate a good window.

I thought I would be that way with what Ravyn calls "my precious AMs", but I've had to cull two of them that hatched with issues. I'm finding I only want the strong ones even more so with these. I'm sure it would be different if I were hatching once or twice a year, or just hatching for my own back yard, but with all the chickens I have now and two incubators running non-stop, I want them to hit the ground running

High dollar, not high-quality.

Maybe even some of the rare breeds.

For sure, a culled egg with a peeping chick, will never hatch.
