thanks have good reasons. and the real work starts soon .Now I thinking about hatching 120 eggs at once . spent all that money on GQFs want to see eggs rocking in them .so maybe tonight I can do a final clean and take some pictures and get started on wiring up some tstats might start setting next weekend. what the heck might fire them both up need more trays though . maybe not DW will kill me

We charge by the pound, the cattle get weighed on the semi. So while we usually test weight out calves before sale, so we have a good idea what they are worth, we do not have exact weight. Like I said sale barn is so much safer.

sounds like it's time to invest in a scale.......especially, if you have to weigh only 60 head.....run them thru, tally they weights...

We have 100, it was just 60 females (we are cursed with heifers) Still not a huge operation. a scale would be nice, maybe someday.

You haven't done a hatch in a while, I think you need to fire them up! Tell DW that I said so.

I think its more the enaggblers around here, make it very hard not to keep setting!

My sister-in-law just got her first Muscovy egg..... I told her to save me some to hatch..

I know very little about cattle, that's why I appreciate OFW answering all my questions.
