YES!  Yes, you need duckies.  I'm sure of it!  

Cricket is the most feisty.  She nibbles every time we pick her up.  She sits on top of the lids to the water & food bowls.  Willow is the other end of the spectrum.  Will relax when I hold her, but...she's the smallest & has a mischievous side.  She has gotten into the holes inside the water & food bowls.

Oh my gosh, it's a lot of work trying to tame down all my little babies! I want to be able to catch them when necessary. I'm not a good chicken wrangler! But you can sure tell who my favorite is! Little Eve hops on my arm every time I open the door!
I've been thinking about changing my avitar name. When I joined I just used user id...

We get lots of tumbleweed a in Kansas too! So cute. Reminds of a story when I Was a kid our Collie was sitting on the front porch with a baby sparrow sitting on her back! Our Collie's name was Lassie. Dad was like grab the camera!! He came back out to take the pic and Lassie was in the same spot. No chick...Lassie had a feather sticking out of her mouth!!! I still miss that dog.

Awwwww. And I meant to tell you that I lied. I have checked on Harriet a few nights and she is always on the floor, under the roost. If I sit her up on it, she's fine, but apparently she can't get up there by herself. ;/ And I just had another thought, I should have named her Dorothy! I loved the wizard of Oz.

I'm leaning toward Walnut being my favorite. But I'm not sure its possible to pick a fav, they are all so stinkin cute. Congrats on the shiny new badge too, my friend!

Yep, we have an old butter container that we cut holes in. We put food in and they stick their heads into the holes to get food. Goofy Willow must think those holes are invitations.

You can change it - she'll never know.

. All of mine get temporary names until I know they are staying, and then sometimes a third name when their personalities start to show. No one's complained yet.....
