French frogs

LOL...we've got an unbelievably loud chirpy frog in our flower bed.  I agree, must be spring.  ;)

Locust trees are blooming Iris's  blooming at the end of the drive . head is all stopped up . and DD told me to clean the pool and get it up and running . Had to cut the grass three or four times already. But the thing that lets me know for sure  the toms are gobbling in the woods and the other morning I watched two young deer run around a hen turkey in the middle of the hay field for what must have thirty minutes . the hen just stood there every now and then they would walk up to her nose to nose and sniff her . She just stood there never saw them do that before . Doesn't top the gold Eagle that landed pretty close to the same spot years ago but it was cool to watch .Yep spring has sprung . I don't know how many of you have every smelled a yellow locust in bloom but it has a lovely fragrance and the blooms are the shape of little white bells .

We have sweet locus, perhaps the same thing? Beautiful sweet smelling trees the honey bees go nuts over it.

Our irises are blooming too and the columbine is about to pop. I've been mowing, too and had to up the water due to our spring winds.

Comfrey should have had its first cutting already. Better do that tomorrow if the winds die down.
