I boiled several dozen eggs last night, to feed back to the birds, and to keep myself from setting more. (ok, so I saved Katherine's eggs to set tonight...ssshhhhh ) I hate seeing all these lavender eggs recycled this way.

I know a lady who pickles her bantam eggs to serve as hors d' oeuvres. Goes well with Chocolate Orpington and Silkie pie....
