Nothing wrong with Legbar production, just have to choose your line carefully... ours lay really well and large eggs... I just don't care for them... never have been a fan of their look and they're personalities are just not what I like... too much hassle, so they're next up on the block for us...
I only have one left, and she's next on the cull list, too. Started a rampage of feather picking and all the other chickens look like heck. Think I'll put the bumpa bit on her for a while if I can find it.
The two halfloff girls of hers are growing up so cute though, so If I cull her there will be no chance of hatching out any more. Of course, next Spring she'll be 4, so not sure future chicks is a good reason to keep her long-term.
