Thanks Friday! Berts getting a monsoon and you're in a heat wave!

Supposed to be record breaking heat here this weekend into next week, up to 104 I think. Thought I left those temps back in SoCal.

I'll be in Denver next week. Hope the birds are alive when I get back.

Yeah, my daughter's HOA would love that.

Actually they can have up to 5 hens, but the coop must match the house exactly (paint & trim), even the roofing material.

Just went over with DH how to water everything down in the mornings, open the shed and turn on the fan in the afternoons, and collect eggs twice a day. Oh, and if he sees a chicken passed out in the run, dunk it in a bucket of cold water to see if he can save it.

We also have a fire in the mountains, so the sky is smoky. (Reminds me of the smog I grew up with.

)

She'll just come home to slow roasted chicken .

Besides them chicken still ain't sure who she is . They think they're owned by a gravity flow feeder and a automatic watering system

So them chicken will be slow roasted and smoked should be good eating
