So a majority of my layers are around 2 years old or approaching the 2 years mark next month. In the last few weeks i have been getting at least 1 double yolker egg, and this week have got two!.

Is this a sign of egg production slowing down for these birds ?

Well, it could be. But it's possible it could just be a hen with a "glitch" in her egg making system. I've had a hen or two who layed double yolkers pretty consistently. One layed them regularly until she was almost 7.
How are the rest of the eggs, are they normal? And what breeds are your ladies?

It is just a glitch. Not anything you can do about it. My sons always thought it was a sign of good luck!

In my experience, if they are going to have them, there are more the first year, several the second, and by the third, maybe only the first couple weeks when they start up in the spring.
