Friend for Crippled (eyeless) Pekin duck?

Advice!!!!!!
I put the wrap on her but 30 minutes later she found a way to take it off!!! I can’t find a way to keep it on her! She will fall over and start wiggling out of it or she will stretch then walk til it starts falling off! Is there any other way to keep it on her? Also, it keeps touching her leg so she kind of trips but I’m afraid that she might not be able to breathe well if I tighten it

LOL...I suppose I wouldn't want to be wrapped up in elastic bandaging, either. It may not be tight enough. Also, when you wrap it around her body, try to keep it mostly around her torso and away from her legs (though when it's wrapped more snugly, she shouldn't be able to get her foot into it).

This is from a post I did a while back:

"Three times around should do it, but it needs to be snug, so he shouldn't be able to get it off. There's a tutorial here that may be helpful for the wrapping part: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/644239/angel-wing-in-ducks-how-we-wrap-to-mend-it-pictorial.

The instructions say to "apply 3M Vetrap Bandaging Tape at approximately 50% stretch. Applying too tightly may impair circulation. Apply last wrap with no tension; press firmly into place" (http://www.medi-vet.com/mobile/Product.aspx?id=38789).

It's stretchy stuff, so if you think it's too tight, you can always cut it off and re-wrap (I know they can be very uncooperative so this isn't an appealing prospect). I wouldn't let him swim until the wrap comes off, too."

It's not easy, but you can do it. Best of luck!
