Frittata Crows (video)

Our cockerel Frittata (Fritter) just started crowing a couple of days ago but my oldest son is visiting with his grandma and hasn't been able to hear him. He so wanted to see him do it that I made a video and sent it to him. Thought I'd share it here too, just for fun. Video is at the bottom. What a fine young gentleman Fritter has become (about 16 weeks old now).

I LOVE the crow of the Buff Orpington!! I have one too and when he first started crowing, he sounded absolutely SICK!!! He's crowing better now.

Glad you got video of yours! Mine shuts up when I break out the camera!!

The day he started crowing, I thought a chicken was getting attacked in the coop.

I was walking back to my house across the field. I got to the berm that separates my yard from the field and heard him. I didn't even stop to think, I just yelled "HE CROWED!!!" and from next door, I heard my mother say, "Yeah, we heard!"

They pick on me now. When they are out in the early morning and hear him, they will call me and tell me to "Shut that rooster up!!!" and then laugh evilly. They are nuts!

He has a deep crow.
