Frizzle thread

Pics
I've seen a lot of crosses and my question is: are the Frizzles as docile as Silkies? Or does it depend on the mix? It appears to me that the vast majority of photos of these birds seem to indicate that they are indeed quite docile and of good temperament. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule as each has their own personality, but it seems that they make for good birds that like people and can make good pets for small children, or am I wrong on that? I still new to all this chicken stuff- but got my first Silkie last week and love him to bits. I am now keen on acquiring some Sizzles and Frizzles. Their "bad hair day" look is very endearing to me, LOL.

Can you tell me what breed and color variety my Frizzle is?

I think it is a hen and she is white and grey with white spots on the grey parts. What breed and variety of color is she?

She looks like a silver pencilled frizzled Cochin

She's adorable!

I've been looking everywhere for fizzles. Any breed/color except the Polish & Serama ones (they aren't cold hardy).
Would prefer a started pullet (to be aquired now) but will take chicks or even fertile eggs (to be aquired in April/may).
Im in NJ & can pickup locally or I will pay for shipping.
Please pm me with what you have available & price.
All the hatcheries I have looked at are sold out for 2014 already or don't have any avail till August.

Thank you so much! She is a sweet little chicken and rides on my son's shoulder's....thinks she is a parrot! LOL!
Back in November 2013 a huge black bear ripped into our son's 4H coop and killed 15 of his Frizzles and Suzie Q is the only one that survived the attack. He did not even eat them all, but just killed to kill and left them in a pile on the coop. It was so sad! She is beautiful and super sweet.

McMurray, Ideal, Mypetchicken and Welp all show that they have frizzled Cochins available. MMs website shows March 5th as the earliest ship date, the others didn't specify. I'm not anywhere near you, but I hope that helps a little!

our most recent purchase a nice polish frizzle rooster an he's lovely lady the golden laced polish hen. I have never owned these types of birds before so if anyone could take a look an tell me what quality bird they are I would be very grateful
