So the pond is mainly covered with wood sheets to keep snow from going in (don't ask, it just works for me). There is about 6 inches from water top to bottom of wood sheets.
I have a 250watt pond heater in the pond.
Yesterday I went out to check the heater and make sure it is good..... I see the damn bull frog on top of it just hanging out. silly frog
