Have you tried scrolling through pictures on a site like Mypetchicken.com or one of the other hatchery sites? That's how I decided which ones I wanted. You might look at the silkies. They are awesome chickens!

Sometimes a bird that looks kinda gray is called "blue" (in regards to color). If it was gray and white, it may be a "splash" color. These may help you find the breed.

Was it a dark gray or light gray?
Do you remember if it was a standard size chicken or a bantam?
Do you remember what kind of comb it had?
What color feet?
I am sure you don't remember most of it, but figured if you happen to remember even just one, it helps us narrow it down for you.

Did it have fluffy feathers on it's head (almost like a chicken hat or fluffy hairstyle)?
Did it have fluffy cheeks feathers?
Feathers on its legs and/or feet?

Congrats on getting to get your very own chicken!! How exciting!

It was light gray.
Not sure about the size.
No I don't.
I don't know about the feet.
No fluffy feathers.
No fluffy cheek feathers.
Don't think it had feathers on it's feet.

THANK YOU SO MUCH:D
