From eggs to Adults

Hello guys I’m going to be incubating 12 Standard sized Easter Egger eggs I recieved in the mail! I’m also POSSIBLY going to hatch 3 EE bantam mixed eggs (from my own flock) too! I thought it’d be fun to show you guys the development of all the eggs! I will be putting them in the incubator tomorrow or two days from now. Here are some pics!

Awesome! The olive eggs look just like some of mine. I was sold “Americauna” pullets, but one lays a mint green egg and the other an olive egg. Cutest chicks ever though! One of the newest has a beard.

I will candle on day 6, 10, 14, and possibly 16. And yes I will be posting pictures!! I will also give updates!

So, I’ve decided to set these two EE mix bantam eggs!! Hopefully they are fertile!

Does the temperature for thermal air incubator need to be 98 or 99.5?

Still air or forced air? I ended up getting a separate thermometer and hygrometer for my still air after the first hatch was very poor. And I did “dry” incubation, no water added til lockdown. We live in NC, pretty darn humid at baseline all summer.
