From eggs to ducklings

The ducklings got bath time with peas and carrots. They loved both! Though they keep making me worry because they aren’t using the heat source as much as I thought they would at this age.

I certainly have a few that love the water more than others at this age.

Ducklings are now a week old. My how big they are already. They get baths every other day and love looking for peas in the water.

My little Wry neck guy still is having problems. Today seemed to be a really bad day for him. His neck seemed to spasms so bad that his head was stuck between his wings. I wanted to increase his vitamin b/ nician but not sure if him getting a ml a day would be safe for him.

Ducklings are approaching two weeks old on Thursday. So today they got to take their first trip outside to the duck pen and explore.

Hard to believe that two months ago that my ducklings were just little egglets. Now I have two quackers and 9 followers. Everyone is starting to get feathers in even my little Wry neck guy Riker. Who after almost three weeks is finally getting better.

The whole gang found mud made by the hose and was noodling in it. They had a blast.
