My guess is liquid from the crop.
Having been on it's side it could be pouring out.

I would keep it warm and quiet. I wouldn't try feeding or watering it. It just may be chilled. If it comes around and gets warmed up I would take it back outside ASAP.

Update:
It’s probably dead.
It is warmed up and has gotten softer but it’s eyes are closed and I don’t feel a heart beat.
RIP lil bird. I’ll give it a proper burial tonight

Please wash up VERY GOOD before going anywhere near your chickens.
Wild birds can transmit a lot of very bad diseases to chickens.

Well I have seen chicks that had wandered away and had gotten chilled enough to be pretty much dead. They even look squished, but with heating them up they come back. When things get hypothermia they can be dead or near dead and still come back.

Agreed, I’ve done the same with baby kits (rabbits)
