I never risk cracked eggs. They go straight to the garbage disposal for me, sometimes to the girls.Frozen and cracked are tossed. If they aren't cracked they go in fridge. of course if they are not cracked I can't be 100% certain they are frozen. lol
Yes - they work great for scrambled eggs and baking. Works best if you break up the yolk first or it's kind of rubbery. My mom separates them and freezes enough whites in each Ziplock for an angel food cake. That's a nice treat in the winter.i have been reading some different articles about how you can freeze eggs in silicone ice cube trays so you can save them for later use
has anyone here done that?
I've found them to be more watery as well.Cracked eggs go to the dog. On rare occasion frozen eggs that don't crack are watery after they thaw.
