I also recieved them the same day they were hatched! They vaccinate to for .10 a chick

There may be local breeders with chicks available for mid-May. Your local poultry association or a 4-H member may know...

Do you have any livestock auction houses near you?

We are one hour away from an Amish one, and, although I won't buy any horses, there, they DO sell chickens, ducks, pheasant, turkey, and rabbits 2x and month, at 6 PM. Even saw a peacock sold there!

ok I DID IT!! I placed my order but instead of my original 9, I ordered a total of 12 including a........rooster!! I can't believe it, I said I wasn't going to but I couldnt help myself!!! Now I have to change my signature line! LOL:cd

If I didn't have so many now (I think we have around 60ish) I would order some silkies.

What I want to know is how can they sell Silkies that are sexed? It seems to me that everyone says you can't sex Silkies until they are 4-6 months old.

Does anyone know the answer to that?
