Fugly Farm

Nope, just got home and had to love the fur babies, put stuff away, etc. Probably put that off til the weekend depending on rain and stuff.

I read that if you plant some of those Marigold's, that you can feed them to the chicken's to improve egg yolk color when you clean them out.

I plant them to deter bugs and my flock didn't like them. This flock might though.

The one in my hand has some light gray in its bowtie

@igorsMistress I seen that, and it has a black eyebrow too?
Yes and a spot on the back of the head. A few others have some spots here and there too.

I don't care what anyone says, Nn babies are the cutest chicks ever.

BB, I've read the same about chickens eating Marigolds. None of my chickens have ever touched them.

But they do help with bugs in the garden, like IM says.

And I like them, there are so many colors & varieties. And they are super simple to grow from seed.

Igor is weirded out by the thought of having his food cooked in the garage  Whiner. So I bought this shelf unit, $22 at walmart vs at least $35 on amazon, and it fits the appliances I figure I'll use most in Summer. I use my dehydrator a lot so this gives me a place to run it without taking up counter space, and the air fryer has been used pretty regularly since it arrived.

Funny...maybe he thought when you mentioned cooking in the garage, his food was going to warmed up over an engine block. :gig
