The chickens are enjoying the grass and a squash I left too long.

Yup that's the new guy. I've heard him crowing in the early morning over the last few days and this morning he did so out in the yard in front of the whole world so he's settling in. He has a nice crow too, not high pitched.

I'm glad that he's settling in. He hadn't started crowing yet when he was still over here. By what you described, he must have a crow like his daddy Roger. I don't like those high pitched crow's neither.

Lacey is settling in too. She hangs out with the younger chicks a bit but everyone pretty much stays in the same area together. I was thinking I might call the roo Russell. Russell Crow :gig
