Yes, my mom and daughter said Hop Tart is gender neutral but I disagree. I picked that name for a girl. If I had known he was boy from the beginning it would have been either Twitch or Walter.

There's a Walter Bunny in the Loony Tunes cartoons...is he named after that rabbit?

No, not named after anyone in particular. It's not common so I picked it for that reason mainly. Lots of Snowballs, Frostys, Hoppers, etc.

Uncommon names are good, I like his name being Walter.

Yes and no. Layla is becoming more of a problem than not so she'll be wearing a shock collar this weekend and get a little training. Abby could care less, Frank is interested but under control.

I've decided to get Walter neutered so I'm calling for an appointment for that hopefully this week. I might want to get him a friend at some point, there are almost always buns available for rescue here.

Just a word of advice on breeding rabbit's later for you or someone that you know that want's to for their food source. Pick the future breeder's that come from larger sized litter's on both sides of the parent's lineage. That way you won't have to buy so many doe's. When I had mine before, I ran 4 doe's to 2 Buck's, because I was selling the babies. My white New Zealand doe came from a litter of 12, and she was a good mother also.
