I have a dozen standard Turken eggs headed my way. I decided I don't want to do bantams. Cute but no. I'll keep the Mille Fleurs and still planning on the Egyptian Fayoumis in Spring.

I'll grow out whatever hatches and start from there. I should have an interesting mix by next Spring.

I just talked to the young gal I sold the red girls to. She's got a run build in progress and is adding 4 more birds to her flock. Chicken math strikes again!

Chicken math is good! You have to have more than what you really need in case you loose some.

I remember that movie.

You mentioned that you were going to be getting more turken hatching egg's. If they will be shipped I hope you don't wait too long. They say that the Post Office is going to faze out doing the chick's and egg's.

I'd heard that and read a couple of those articles. I just ordered yesterday so hopefully they'll be on the way Monday.
