Well it seems there's a decent chance for a storm tonight. We're already getting wind from the outflow and there are 2 storms that look to collide over Phoenix. We shall see. I moved the MFd chicks to the back corner and saw them all drink. I had to wet their food because I think the crumble is too big. The AC chicks are hanging out in the big coop a lot. If they decide to stay in there then that's fine.

Got confirmation that my Turken eggs will ship Monday so they won't sit at the PO all weekend. I'll get the incubator and humidifier cleaned up this weekend. Hoping for quick delivery and gentle treatment.

I hope that you get some rain. Most of the time the chick feed crumble's are too big for the newborn's. That's why I like the fine stuff that they sell at Chitwood's over here. I hope that your next batch of hatching egg's will be ok.

I have only had problems with really tiny chicks like these newbies; they are almost as small as coturnix quail chicks.

We got some rain, enough that the ground is still damp this morning. Lots of wind and lightning too. Our dumbass neighbor was out there lighting fireworks in the wind. That kid is going to kill himself or someone else.

I don't get it...fireworks in the rain? Was that his safety measure, hoping there would be enough moisture to prevent fires?

Maybe he was trying to appeal to the rain gods to send more rain.

We got rain too, and now the ant's are out there in Armies. Maybe that kid will remove himself from the gene pool in time to not reproduce more dumbasses?

His mother doesn't punish him. He's such a god fearing young man that she trusts him to do the right thing...there are a lot of people in prison who are god fearing

I think there are quite a few parents out there that don't teach children right from wrong and just trust kids to do the right thing. How the heck does a kid know what's right from wrong if they aren't taught?
