Fugly Farm

They really are growing fast. I’m wondering if I need to raise the heat plate. Once they get under there it’s shaped like a nest but it might be too small already.

yes it is very difficult to keep bandages on dogs and cats. Fortunately Frank is much too big to hide anywhere under things so we can’t catch him lol.
I was thinking that the heat plate might need to be raised, but wasn't really sure!

Yeah, no crawling up under the bed for that big boy...:D

Can you keep it fairly low in back and raise the front legs quite a bit, so it's a "lean-to?" I know you can do that with the brinsea eco glow 1200 but I'm not familiar with your model.
Yes I can do that. It’s at a slight angle already, I was thinking about making the bowl of the nest a bit wider and leaving the back legs of the heat plate as they are but raising the front. I’ve had the hay bunched up around the sides of the heat plate to prevent drafts under it. It’s cozy under there.

No, kinda nice that
The ducks can get in and out of there pretty quick still but they’re just going to keep growing! Definitely want them to have a warm place at night if they want it. I make sure they start the night off under there anyway.

Good morning and thanks, it’s remote controlled
Good morning Sue, you also!

Good morning. Extremely detailed. He had to install all the electronics and I believe he’s getting ready to do body modifications to make it a Peterbuilt. The landing gear work and it makes all the sounds a real truck does.

Good morning IM :frow make it a great day !
