The pipe for the bunny tunnel between coop and patio should arrive on Jan 5th. I have four chaste trees, a dwarf Dorsett Golden Apple and a small lilac bush on order for the backyard. I’m going to put a couple of the chaste trees on the small patio in pots. One I’d like to try in a pot in the xeriscape garden and the other I’m not sure yet. Maybe it’ll go in the xeriscape garden too. The apple will go at the other end of the yard opposite the lemon tree. I have no idea where I’m going to put the lilac bush, maybe out by the olive tree. I’m still hunting for things I can grow in the bunny space, it seems they’ll eat just about anything.

DH and I were talking about bushes for our backyard the other day. We both agreed that lilacs were on the list!

Thanks NFC, I’m keeping my fingers crossed! When I started it was just dirt and weeds.
Have you decided on anything else other than a lilac? Have you found one you like that will do well in your hardiness zone?

DH and I were talking about bushes for our backyard the other day. We both agreed that lilacs were on the list!

Yes, I posted so I can find it when I need it lol. There are many versions but that one I like the most so far. Still looking though.

We've been talking about a small greenhouse. And what kind of containers we want to grow veggies in. When the weather is nice, DH is at his busiest at work. When he isn't busy, the weather is crap so who knows when or how this will all work out.

I imagine the snow has put a damper on the fence? It can frustrating when you’re ready to get stuff done but you can’t.

First the delay was by the snow, then it was delayed due to high winds. Now it's the holidays. I'm sure they'll get to it when they can, I'm just very ready (that's another way of saying I'm impatient ).
