Picked up a couple four packs of annuals today and put them in a pot in the shade garden

I don’t remember what this is, but I forgot about it for a couple of days and it was suffering from lack of water. Gave it a self watering bucket so it doesn’t die this summer

I up potted this Mexican bird of paradise. I don’t really have a place to put it so here it will have to be for now

An olla, it seeps water as the soil dries out. I’ve made them from terra cotta pots and saucers before. Just plug the hole in the bottom with a cork and put the saucer on top as the lid.

PS Aiden likes to start things for me to take care of, then come back in a few weeks and grin about how he forgot about them. So kind of?

Got some yellow vining things for the trellis. We’re making watering buckets for them this afternoon.

I love this bucket

In the shade garden. I’d like to find a couple Mexican heather plants to put in the corner there. I moved a bamboo bench in there which will give me a couple of shelves to store a few things.

Probably, I’ll have to look at the pot again. I’m pooped right now I’m glad tomorrow is Monday, I need a break.
