We had a problem in my family when my mother fell ill and my dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers. We actually resolved it, for the most part, when my father died. It brought us all together again. I hate it took his death, but it certainly made it easier on my mother.

The two sisters haven't spoken to each other for years. I get to hear one side and then the other should they visit and both are nonsense. I've done my bit with the olive branches on everyones behalf. I'm too old and too tired to be doing with it anymore. I have my daughters and their families here and of course chickens and they are what I want to put my time into.

Me neither! I’ve heard this may be a cooler, wetter summer for us. Cooler means less than 110, wetter means it’s going to be muggy and gross outside.
