Fugly Farm

Awe, the wee ones are dust bathing in damp dirt :gig

Will get pics later, but essentially I put their shelter against the open wall along with a few lids from some totes so they can’t get through the chicken wire. Then blocks outside the door so they can’t stick heads out and get hurt by the bigs but I can get in n out. They have about 150 square feet of space to roam so they should be good for a while.

I broke the tip of my second toe on my right foot, same side as the Achilles tendon issue. I hope I don’t break my neck going in and out of there next 🙄

Ouch, your poor right foot! :hugs

She's all bark but I have another that runs up behind me and bites. Salina is loud, but Maris is stealthy.
Rude! Do you warn her that you’re going to bite her back if she’s not careful?

Phoenix, I swear he grew two inches since last night

I prefer to eat my chicken plucked and cooked. 🤣
She is sweet when not broody. When she hatches chicks she will let me handle them and even sits in my lap with them. She just turns evil when she is broody.
