I went to open the pop door on the coop and found the blue crew on the top roost with Henna, yay! Yesterday morning they were roosting on the blocks that form the base of the coop so they are making progress.

Another busy day today. Igor finished attaching the lattice to the garden this morning while I raked out more muck from the shade garden. I built a path to a table/chair, the goal is to take it all the way to the door, but it’s not there yet.


Igor also built a trellis for one of the dragon fruit plants while I moved some other blocks and put a waterer in there for the chickens. It’s not perfect, but we recycled materials and didn’t buy anything. The lattice on top of the waterer provides shade and was scrap.


Moved the small dragon fruit over to the center trellis to grow there. I cut off the small good pieces from the one that died and I’m letting them dry so I can plant a couple of them for more plants.



Done for today, time for a shower. It was another perfect day to spend outside, I feel like I got something accomplished.
