I guess that you won't have enough girls there for more than 2 roo's, huh. What all chick's hatched from those last shipped egg's, all FNN's?

No, all MNN I think. I don't remember right now and I have a headache. They all have the same father so the boys are going into the freezer. I have 5 fully feathered red pullets, one with no tail which is kinda cute, she reminds me of a quail.
We'll see how 2 roos works. This may all be a pipe dream.

We have it all right now. Thunder, rain, sun and rainbows.

Well, if the boy's are from the MNN marked egg's, I could use one of them to go with my FNN chick since they came from separate pen's. I'm hearing thunder over here, but no rain so far today.

I've been contemplating the integration of the wee ones into the big coop.

The 5 tween boys are roughly 15 to 17 weeks old now. 3 will definitely be gone between the end of December and end of January, when depends on them.

The wee pullets will be 10 to 14 weeks by then so I'm moving them into the big coop when we process the tweens and leaving the cockerels in the mini coop. I'll move the pullets at night if necessary for a bit. The cockerels will only be around for 4 to 8 weeks after that.

@BlueBaby I am not letting any chickens off my premises for a while yet. I didn't open up that pullet to check her for tumors and don't know what her issue was. Otherwise you'd be welcome to one of the boys out there.

@igorsMistress I understand. I was just trying to get ahead of myself here again. I still have 3 those Barnevelder pullet's, and 2 OLEG's to grow out big enough to lay eggs, plus the FNN one. I'm sort of liking this brown NN girl that I bought too, as her egg's are a little bit darker brown that those other one's and they are getting bigger now. You know how I like the big egg's.

I'm getting some large eggs from my girls when they do lay. I've only been getting 1 egg a day though. I'm curious about the wee ones and what their eggs will be like, but the Nn girls lay nice eggs. Thick shells, nice shape.

Having a flock of boys is a PITA! They're little whiners that are always under foot. They have 24/7 access to food in 2 separate feeders but every time I go outside they whine and follow me around like they're starving, but leave a pile of pellets for the pigeons to poach. I'm ready to send them to freezer camp but they're too small yet.
