I candled this morning and all 8 eggs are fertile. I finally got a look at the blue hens egg to know which is hers. She had a hissy fit because the buff girl was in the nest, so she laid her egg in the straw in the mini coop

Well, you are on a roll then, it seem's! It'always nice to be able to tell what hen lay's which egg.

Couldn't you purchase on of those "Nest Run" stamper's?

I could yes. Any other labelling would have to be obliterated. The cartons are only 47 cents at walmart though. If customers bring them back I'll give a discount, otherwise they'll pay for them.

I think I have a new layer. I found the tiny egg in the yard. Cuckoo didn't lay yet today but I don't think it's hers.

16 total egg's, with all but 5 being from my own flock.
On the shipped egg's= 2 NN, and 3 BCM.

I got my official letter from the Dept of Ag yesterday; just ordered a stamp with my name and producer number so I can stamp egg cartons.
