No, they sure don't!They don't leave a person much room do they IM?![]()
King bunk beds? I like it!IM maybe you should try bunk beds, you folks can have the top and the kids the bottom.

Since we've had so much rain I went ahead and tossed in some grass seed, then did some thin spots in the dog yard too. We bought the block and wood to get the sun garden going. I need to get the blocks moved to the backyard and get out a level but it's still too wet. We got 2.75" of rain over the week, not bad. Since we are expecting more I'm debating about taking the chicks out. We aren't using the heater right now and the room they're in is chilly at night so I'm thinking they'll be ok. Probably do that tomorrow. We have artichokes, still very young flowers but it won't be long now!Things seem less tense in the flock with one rooster. Jr does a very good job of mating and attending as many girls as possible. I think he pretty much stays in the coop yard with the layers as they rotate through. Less work that way. If I don't personally serve him when I'm throwing out feed or scratch he stands in front of me and waits until I do. I found 3 brown pullet eggs so we have another layer. I suspect it's the white Nn pullet with the black spots but haven't seen her in a box yet. Jr mated with her the other day and I trust him to tell me what's up. I feel like an idiot btw. I couldn't figure out why I have only clover growing in my grass frame. I figured either the seed was too old despite keeping it in the freezer or the chickens were all over it all the time and pulling the grass. No, I planted cloverSince we've had so much rain I went ahead and tossed in some grass seed, then did some thin spots in the dog yard too. We bought the block and wood to get the sun garden going. It'll allow me to direct sow early in the year rather than in pots. Herbs, tomatoes and eggplant, squash, beans. Whatever I don't plan to grow in the shaded garden, some things get too leggy so not enough sun.. I'd like to get my succulents out to the shaded area for summer and not have to move them in order to plant stuff; I have the ability to raise and lower the shade cloth on that garden so I'd like lots of flowers in there really. Also, probably will transplant a couple of the artichokes out to the sun area and keep one in the shaded garden to see what works best. Sorry for the novel!Funny how you planted clover and didn't get grass (sounds like something I would do)
What are you going to plant in a sun garden IM?

Here's the sheet Hope helped me tie dye yesterday. I have a bunch more colors left so I'm thinking about doing a couple more. Hubs always buys dark colors and I'm sick of em. Next step is strip and paint the headboard. Still deciding on color. I may just stain it black, we have a chest @ the foot of our bed I need to refinish as well.
