Yup, she and Cuckoo are the only girls with names. So, you decided to keep her name then? It fit's her feather pattern.

Yeah but I also like Angus which is what I'm leaning toward. I like the band AC/DC and it's also uncommon.
I hope you still get more like Candy, she's a beauty!I had a couple of chick's that hatched the other day that the chick fuzz look's like Candy's did at that age, but they didn't hatch from brown egg's like Candy did. One of the Barnevelder's layed another double yolked egg again, and that thing was huge. The shape of it was perfect though, but she must have had to push hard to get it out. She was the one that went broody, and then the dark eyed NN girl went broody while I was trying to break the Barnevelder one.
I think Trixie is a great name for a Westie! Angus and Archie too for boys. Sometimes you just have to try a couple on for size. I this guy looks more like an Angus than a Russell.I like that name too. Years ago when I was looking for a Westie, I was going to name him Angus or Archie if the pup turned out to be a boy. But she was a girl so ended up with Trixie.
Still might end up with a boy dog and Angus (or Archie) will be my first picks.
It's gonna get too darn hot again soon. I worry about them sitting in there all day without water etc.@igorsMistress It sure seem's to be broody season, and it's catchy too!
