It’s time to change out the rugs in the rabbit pen and I’m going to make some other changes as well. They don’t use the little wooden hideout at all so it’s wasted space. Instead they prefer the castle and to be in the mesh cube attached to the tunnel. I bought two hideouts that I can attach with a tunnel to replace those. Can’t wait to get that done. The rugs will be replaced tomorrow and I’ll give the floor a good cleaning. This is one chore I don’t enjoy but I bought a smaller rug for the smaller space and hope that’ll make it less of a chore next time. Here’s what I bought, but both hideouts will be green.

I saw that! Very interesting when that happens. One of my girls lays almost round eggs, not the usual oval shape of the others.

It’s fun to figure out which hen lays which egg. I haven’t had round but one of my chickens laid very pointy eggs.

Park today. Frank is currently snoring. He played at the park yesterday and then had his shots. Last night he did nothing and today he didn’t have a lot of energy to keep going for long.

Bunny pen. The rug I put under the litter boxes is outside drying in the sun. It has rubber backing so no messes on the floor. Once the new huts are here I’m going to toss the mesh cube and move the castle.
