Fugly Farm

Ordered a night blooming jasmine and some moonflower seeds today. Moonflowers will go in the shade garden and the jasmine will go out front near the bathroom window so when it’s open we can smell it.

Jasmin has such a beautiful scent. Never had moonflowers, I'll have to look them up.

eta: they are pretty!

I grew them on an arched trellis in California a long time ago. They are beautiful and smell wonderful.

Transplanted the pothos and put some glass pebbles in saucers under the palms to increase humidity around them without watering. Eventually I’ll move the one in the orange pot to the pot, but I’m out of soil. I bought some Egyptian walking onions to plant with the apple tree.

I’ve decided to add a worm bin to compost our kitchen scraps again. Last time I used a DIY bin but I purchased one with drawers in it for this time. I’m reluctant to put food scraps in the big pile unless I have time to bury them because of roof rats my neighbors across the street have been dealing with . Their neighbors behind them don’t pick up any fruit and so there’s a ready source of food. I guess I’ll be making worm slushies again.
