That's a lot of work for something you don't like. I hope you have better luck with your next recipe!
I used two different brands of bone broth so I think that’s it, I can still use the broth though. I like it but the flavor is extra so I could always water it down a little when I heat it up. It won’t be wasted regardless. Next time I’ll use my own broth.

I never met an onion I didn't like ❤️

So far the dried blueberry and craisin vinegars aren’t particularly bubbly, the regular raisin is getting there, but the apple and the ginger are bubbling along quite well. The house has been chilly due to the recent weather, but with a warming trend on the way things should pick up a bit.

I have two trays of apple bits dehydrating and four pints of pork roast in the canner. Bacon is on the stove for dinner.

I saw a video using home canned beef for bacon burgers without the bun. It’s basically a bacon cheeseburger in a flour tortilla rolled up and grilled to be a little crispy. We had them without bacon last night and put some pickle relish on them. Yummy!! Tonight will be with bacon and French fried onions with the last of the bbq sauce. This is definitely something we will repeat during the summer, so easy!!

I think they would be good with some chicken and bacon and ranch dressing for dipping too.

The burger in a tortilla sounds tasty IM, good idea.

I walked the garden last evening and saw that one of the cauliflower plants still had a couple of curled leaves so I yanked the plant. The curled leaf bit went in the trash, the chickens and ducks got a few leaves and the rest into the dehydrator. I’m pretty sure I overloaded that bed with plants but only one was having issues.

Broccoli heads are really starting to grow but no cauliflower heads yet. Corn is getting bigger, a few sprouts are 2-3” tall so today I’m going to thin them and get the grass sprouts out of there.

Made my moisturizer today, I love this stuff. Extra virgin olive oil, unrefined coconut oil and some organic beeswax plus a few drops of vitamin E oil. I do this by weight, two parts each olive and coconut oils to one part beeswax pellets. I don’t add scents or herbs because of allergies. I also rub this on my scalp after my shower and my hair, which I am growing out again, is curly and much less dry. It really helps keep my hands from cracking since I wash a lot too.

I have some Italian sausage going into the canner today and the greens are still in the dehydrator. I added some spinach and arugula to the dehydrator because I found some on clearance at the store yesterday.

Attila came out to eat just as I was letting everyone else out of the garden after eating this morning; she was locked in there all day. Before I let her out and everyone else back in to eat this evening I collected the eggs and closed off the small coop. She will have to roost tonight, but I’m not sure how I’ll handle her in the morning.

Canned the last of the meat I had defrosted today and got all the extra appliances and gadgets put away for now. It’s supposed to rain and be chilly tomorrow, I’ll believe it when I see it, so I’ll spend the day giving the kitchen a deep clean while the boys clean their room. I think I’m done with canning until the vinegars are done and the backyard is under control. I gotta get that cleaned up before it gets too hot.
