This is random...
Do any of you do "fun things" with your ducks?
Take them anywhere with you?
Walk them?
Take them to places away from home?
What can you do with them?
What should you NOT do with them?

I only have 4 ducks right now.. Was just thinking about this. Haha! :)

I just want to show them off! :) I got neices, nephews..other family and friends to show. lol!!
(My first time ever having ducks)
Thanks! :)

Building a relationship with a duck usually can turn out funner just because they imprint so it’s almost as such they become like a dog,but never have had any be this close, most aren’t.Yiu would need in absolute single duckling for it to be this close to you usually. However putting a tub outside and sitting and talking to them is a good way to play with them, throwing in Minnows or bread or scratch keeps things interesting.

P.s ducks don’t like to be touched or held,I’d try chickens as well.I have some fairly friendly chickens who allow petting and being held

I took my duckling to the nursing home 1X for pet therapy they loved it. He got to where he would pinch so could only do it the one time.

Also took him for a ride Polaris he was raised by me so trusted me and still does. We'd go for walks also with him. Now he would rather spend most of his time with his females although he comes in every morning for a couple hrs to visit.

Once they get a certain age they pretty much amuse themselves. But try taking only one away by himself and see how that goes. That way you'll know if you can take one visiting family with out the rest. Mine love to catch bread in their bills My muscovies and love ot dive for meal worms too. [They don't get bread often but they love to play catch.]

I was always told separating them could cause them to be stressed. I have one possibly two that wouldn't mind being alone though. They all love their friends. But I wouldnt mind trying to separate one once in a while for walks and stuff. Was thinking about getting a pet stroller

Nice old clean towels work for travels inside and outside of dog crates.

I am not sure if Opie would like to go for car rides now that he is almost 7yrs but he loves to come inside and visit.
