Not funny, but I have a rooster named Joop. His name has so many possible “nicknames” such as Joop Joop, Joopy, Joopus, Joopy Joop, Joopster, Joopy Woopy, Joopy Joopy, Kerfuffle master, the flogger, and the amazing Joop master. The last few all suit his personality. He is a very naughty boy.

Our rooster is General Tso. The runt is nugget. The fattest is dumpling. Polly is the one that perches on our shoulder. We have another with an extra toe, so, chicken fingers had to be her name.

I had one name Godzilla too! Proceeded to name all the other chicks after chicken dishes: Nugget, Dumpling, Noodle, Piri Piri, Pepper, Momo (type of chicken dumpling), Tikka, Tamari, Coconut, Chili, Pie and Nutmeg ...

We have a gold sexlink named Kelly Cluckson. We also have a Plymouth Barred Rock roo that has had 3 names. He started as Rockin Roo then after he was lost for 2 days and found in a large culvert pipe his name was changed to Limmewinks. Then he survived a fox attack, was nursed back to health and my SLW roo beat him up pretty bad and he fully recovered so we changed his name to Hancock. Three lives, three names.
