I love how little chicks sleep! What a great pic. I'm always sad when my chicks get old enough to start to lay down properly to sleep.

My chickies are 3 weeks old and don't sleep like this, but it's STILL funny to watch them fall asleep. They try to fight it, and it just never works out for them haha

Yeah, it was crazy! I got this pictures sent to me via text message and I was line... oh no..... Then found out it was sleeping. Wew!

It freaked me out the first night we had chicks, I was probably in 2nd grade and my favorite little one, Clementine, was on her side with the paper towel over her head. I freaked out and got my brother and my mom and they went in to look and she was up and running around.

I am so glad I saw this picture yesterday, because otherwise today I would have had a heart attack. It had been quiet for a long while, so I decided to go check on the babes. 3 of them were sprawled out like that on the bottom of the cage, while the other 3 were all snuggled up on the shelf. I would have thought for sure that 3 of the chicklets had died some horrible death at first. However, I just giggled on their weird sleeping habits. So cute!
