“We’re going on a recruiting mission, to get more ravens to join the Resistance,” Earl replied.
“We’re going on a recruiting mission, to get more ravens to join the Resistance,” Earl replied, which was stating the obvious. But maybe the naive female raven needed it repeated. "We'll be closer to the northern border." The ravens there were less familiar with the Resistance, being farther from the border with the crows. But they held the same inexplicable dislike for them.Thattel followed after Earl. “So... where are we going?” He inquired.
Aspen had no idea what any of the borders were. She didn't want to say anything, though, as that would make her seem foolish. She didn't even want to be in the group, but she had went with them to make sure the little crow would be okay.“We’re going on a recruiting mission, to get more ravens to join the Resistance,” Earl replied, which was stating the obvious. “We know-” Thattel paused and reevaluated his life choices, “-I mean, yeah, the northern border sounds good.” He amended quickly. He didn’t want to get on the wrong side of the old raven.Aspen had no idea what any of the borders were. She didn't want to say anything, though, as that would make her seem foolish. "Good." The ravens flapped to the northern border. (Who are they supposed to meet?)“We know-” Thattel paused and reevaluated his life choices, “-I mean, yeah, the northern border sounds good.” He amended quickly. He didn’t want to get on the wrong side of the old raven.
(Uh, idk XD. Anyone want to make a new raven charrie?)"Good." The ravens flapped to the northern border. (Who are they supposed to meet?)
Nanako: no, I can't say you have. *she stopped her spinning before she got dizzy and looked down, debating if she should dive orinto not.*Rocket dove after her. She seemed to be in a rather cheerful mood. “Hey, did I ever tell you about my parents?” She asked, flying besides Nanako.
“My mom looked like me. She was real fast, too.” Rocket said. Though she blamed her mom for her sister’s death and felt angry at her for abandoning them, she had to admit that she knew how to fly. “My dad once said she was lightning fast.” She glanced at Nanako. “My dad was really big. He was all white.” She narrowed her eyes against the wind. Then, her eyes widened as she realized something. “Hey, maybe he was a pet too! What do you think, Nana?”Nanako: no, I can't say you have. *she stopped her spinning before she got dizzy and looked down, debating if she should dive orinto not.*
(Not really, lol.)(Uh, idk XD. Anyone want to make a new raven charrie?)
Thattel landed on the branch of a sturdy looking pine. He surveyed their surroundings. He had been on three other recruiting missions before. So far, the hardest thing to do had been to convince the skeptical ravens that working together was better than being alone. He wasn’t much surprised by that, but he was surprised about how much most of them hated pigeons. Even ravens living far from the border of the city. Thattel, though not born during the first war, had been told about it by his mother. The many birds driven into the forest had displaced the ones already living there, and as a result the forest was extremely overcrowded. The two years of peace for the pigeons had only made it worst as more birds were chased out of the city and more were born in the forest.
Aspen peered at him skeptically, then lost interest. It was just a normal raven family, nothing that exciting. She shook the dust out of her feathers before looking around and taking in her surroundings(Not really, lol.)
“What are you doing here?” An older raven asked. He wasn’t suspicious, merely curious. His young mate blinked at them from the tree. “Earl?” He had met the bird when he was younger and lived closer to the border with the pigeons. Almost everyone knew him.
“I see you already know me. I want you and everyone you know to join the Resistance,” Earl replied.
“That sounds nice... but could you tell me what it is?”
