“Want some?” She asked her eyes focusing on him.

"What? No! I mean... yes? Please?" Storm hurriedly chirped. He wondered how she had seen him with his impressive sneaking skills.

 

[Amer]

"Of course I do!" Vaatras squawked. "I've been flyin' here before you probably even thought of this place." Even though he sounded annoyed, the large gull was obviously intimidated by Riski.
"Now, you gonna tell me why you're here?"


(Claw (raven, one of Shadow's followers) and Barky (a pigeon gang leader secretly working for someone else) are right outside the trees that Lore and Bagel Bite escaped into. If you don't remember, Bagel Bite broke Shard's wing, so she and Moonlight had to retreat and came back with reinforcements.)

"What'd your parents think of it?" Storm asked, curiosity sparkling in his eyes. He cocked his head at her questionably.

"Visiting." Riski gave him a stare that said he wouldn't explain further. "Now, tell me, have you seen any, uh, large birds around these parts? Eagles and hawks and those others who think they're better than you? A whole gang of them?" He glanced behind himself.

“Go ahead” she threw the entire mouse to him “I will catch something else for me”

Claw's eyes narrowed even more, if that was possible. She carefully tilted her head, as if bringing her beak closer to him, and saw the gray shape that was the pigeon General. After a moment of consideration, she inched her feet back a bit, so they weren't as tight on his wings. "I'm listening, but you better make it quick," she growled.

"Well." He eyed her with gleaming, predatory eyes. "Lets say I'm not entirely loyal to the pigeon military. And I'd like to get to the gull and the owl before any other of my friends did." After brief consideration, he added: "I'm not gonna hurt them, if that's what you care about."

Basically, the pigeon lieutenants are getting stricter about non-members and deserters by punishing them whether they've caused a problem or not. Also, they have been going after them even when they weren't in pigeon territory.
Lore (burrowing owl, played by @OldEnglishGameBantam33), Barky (seagull, @Rooster_Tyranny), Pud (deserter pigeon, @Ducklover2 ) and Angel (deserter pigeon, @9SpiceyChickens ) broke a lieutenant's wing and are now kind of wanted criminals by the pigeon military. Another group, lead by a raven named Shadow which has unknown motives, is also after them.
At the pier, where a lot of the seagulls are, Riski (albatross, AMERAUCANAS4REAL ), Ritz Crackers (seagull, AMERAUCANAS4REAL ) and Fish Sticks (seagull, RoostersAreAwesome ) were talking when Vaatras (senior seagull, RoostersAreAwesome ) showed up and started pretty much threatening Riski.
Some other important political figures: Aristocrat, a condor played by Rooster_Tyranny, who lures in outcast birds for his gang.
Cedar, hawk played by OldEnglishGameBantam33 and Cloud, played by me, who pose a threat to smaller birds.
Cement, a friendlier gang leader pigeon played by me, who has a reputation for being soft.
Barky, another gang leader, secretly working for Aristocrat.
Suliver, gang leader played by me, who doesn't tolerate weakness.

Also you got it wrong, Barky is a pigeon and Bagel Bite is the seagull.

"Excuse me?" Moonlight almost choked, but regained her cool, collected composure. Not loyal? She clicked the metal razors on her heels, reminding those birds of the wounds she'd inflicted less than an hour ago.
She glided down, flapping her spotted black and white wings loudly, but looked graceful all the same.
"What is this plan of yours? Is it anything I'd like to know?" Her eyes flashed dangerously.

"Excuse me?" Moonlight almost choked, but regained her cool, collected composure. Not loyal? She clicked the metal razors on her heels, reminding those birds of the wounds she'd inflicted less than an hour ago.
She glided down, flapping her spotted black and white wings loudly, but looked graceful all the same.
"What is this plan of yours? Is it anything I'd like to know?" Her eyes flashed dangerously.

Barky turned his head (She wasn't supposed to be in ear shot but it's okay, and he's still pinned down by Claw), there was a split second of panic in his eyes but he quickly regained his composure.
He looked at her like she was an idiot and made quick subtle glances gesturing to Claw with his eyes. (Does this make sense?)
He turned back to Claw cooly, "This is my lovely boss I told you about. You see, it's not just me who's defecting, why she didn't say that flat out is beyond me." He smiled wryly. "Now, if you could kindly tell us what exactly you wanted with those two birds?"
He then gave Moonlight a significant look.

Vaatras bristled angrily, his ruffled feathers rising sharply on his shoulders. "Of course not? Are ya mockin' me?" He hissed.

Storm, taken aback by her sudden show of kindness, took the mouse without a word, grabbing in and chomping it in his beak until he could swallow it down.

Claw watched him, thinking over his words carefully. This could be a trick. "Well-" she was interrupted by the flapping of pigeon wings

Claw's eyes flashed with suspicion. She glanced from Moonlight to Barky and back again. He must be lying. She decided, noticing the distrust in the lieutenant's eyes when she looked at the gang leader. I could use this to my advantage... he did say he was working for someone else. That probably fetches a high price.. not to mention he might be able to help me find those two. Claw slowly stepped back from Barky, allowing the pinned bird to move away. "Well, I say we work together to catch these criminals." Her eyes sparkled and she looked at Barky with a hint of a smirk on her face. "Wouldn't want them to get away from being punished, eh?"
