~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

She got the feeling that it wouldn't be wise to start telling this raven about her beliefs and how she got involved with everything. She glared back. "I was around the crows when Shadow found them. Shadow asked me to join and I said yes." She stated simply

Thattel looked at Aspen with a worried expression. He silently willed her to not start talking on the crows' defense.

She caught his look and nodded slightly, hoping that would be enough to let him know she wasn't going to start telling the old raven off.
Earl found this answer satisfactory. “And where is she being kept?” he wondered.

“Ah. Serve’s the crow right then, if he’s going to be flying through Raven Territory like it’s something for the amusement of his chick.” The female raven seemed to disagree with him. Her eyes were definitely a shade of defiant only found in hopeful youths. “What about it then?” he asked, glaring at her.

Moonlight dropped in flight as well.

“Stupid, that’s what she is... stupid stupid,” Russet spat. Some of his hate for the pigeon with few digits he had gotten from her, some he cultivated on his own. Those were dangerous words that he offered so lackadaisically, enough to seed a rebellion. Enough to get them all killed. “Sorry.” He lowered his voice. “What I’m trying to say is war can be profitable, but it’s never worth it. You always lose something. Karma’s gonna always take whatever you got back. History’s not worth repeating. We lost the territories for a reason.”
Cement watched him with an amused expression. "What a nice description," she cooed, then turned back to look over the water. "You're right, of course. But she isn't that bad when compared to her lieutenants and gang leaders." A look of disgust crossed her face. "They're getting harsher and harsher on their mission to chase away or eliminate all non-members and deserters."

Blizzard mumbled something incoherent and fluffed himself up more. The birdsong and Moonlight's voice wasn't helping him ignore the dawn. It's too wet out there..

"Yeah, what she said!" Trout said helpfully, spreading his wings in a bad imitation of Orbit.
The pigeon glared at them, obviously wondering whether she could take them both. At last, she growled, "You weaklings will be crushed by the wrath of the all-glorious pigeon military!" Before flapping away erratically into the chill morning air.
Orbit chuckled. "Wow, pigeon military? Sounds weak." She looked at trout for a second, then laughed. "It does sound weak, erm, right?" She stuttered.

“Yeah.” A look of conviction grew In Russet’s eyes. “General One-Toe may have the brain of a pig-bird...” he referred to chickens and their strange, grounded antics, “But her Lieutenants are the real brutalists. You know what they did to May.” May was one of those subjects that they all wanted to forget about, but had to remember. If they forgot about May, then they wouldn’t have reason for their cause.

She swung her head in the direction of the cages. "Over there." From their view point, all they could see was a huddled mass of black feathers
Earl nodded to her and flew towards them. The cages in the old barn. Where was Shadow?
Azaz flapped down from a high perch where she had been posted to watch the prisoners. "Earl," she eyed him carefully, "what brings you here?"
"Ugh!" Orbit sighed. "I can handle more. Im strong enough." She paused. "Do you want to head somewhere else?" She quickly changed the subject.
"They're already too close, they'd just give chase." Trout muttered, sounding worried. He craned his neck, looking for any more pigeons, or even a gull ally.

Trout snorted. "Yeah, I wish." His light eyes were troubled. "The pigeon military's the most brutal, powerful group of notguls known around here."

"Ah, Rus, don't go off about pig-birds again." She shot him a mischievous look. She knew all about his thoughts on chickens. Her eyes became distant and serious again as he mentioned May. "She was a good bird," Cement muttered. She straightened up, looking ahead with resolve. "And that's why I need to talk to Suliver. All the gang leaders and lieutenants have been planning something, I'm sure of it. I need to find out." She fixed him with her bright eyes.

“And I’m assuming you’re telling me this because you’re secretly hoping the best body guard in all the Four Territories will attend this meeting at your side?” Russet teased playfully. “If so, I accept.”
