"Yeah, thank you." Orbit said with no emotion. "You're right, I should get some sleep." She smiled, then looked behind her. "Trout? Trout?" She looked around. "Where did he go?" Orbit nervously asked.
“Trout?” Ritz blinked at looked around. Trout had vanished like a sardine swimming for deeper water.
“I’m sure he’s fine.” He hopped into the lazy waves and splashed some salty spray at the newcomer. “Come on in, the water’s warm!”

"I hope he's fine, we shouldn't lose track of him." She sighed. "He brought me here in the first place." She paused. "I guess I'll k-keep an eye out for him." She said.
She joined Ritz in the water. "What now?" She smiled, then nervously looked up over Ritz head, looking at the horizon.

“I didn’t have anything in particular planned,” Ritz said. “Usually when we go into the water, we just float. And catch fish.”
The tiny gull reached his dark, slender neck into the water and located a small fish, bringing the slippery thing to the surface. “Or at least my type does.”

Thattel blinked. "Well, uh," he cleared his throat a bit nervously. "Shadow went on a recruiting mission, you know, to get more ravens to join the cause. Then we saw this crow carrying a youngling, and Shadow ordered us to surround them, then she dived. We captured them, and, um, I think we're using 'em as leverage." He finished.

Blizzard dropped below her, spanning the ground for the familiar tree. He spotted a couple of crows, who gave them suspicious looks as they passed, but stayed away.

Cement sighed again. "War really is the closest it's been in a while, isn't it?" Her eyes were on the rushing water below, but they were distant. Suddenly, she turned to her mate. "What do you think of One-Toe?" She knew what he did, but she wanted to ask again.

“Ah. Serve’s the crow right then, if he’s going to be flying through Raven Territory like it’s something for the amusement of his chick.” The female raven seemed to disagree with him. Her eyes were definitely a shade of defiant only found in hopeful youths. “What about it then?” he asked, glaring at her.

Moonlight dropped in flight as well.

“Stupid, that’s what she is... stupid stupid,” Russet spat. Some of his hate for the pigeon with few digits he had gotten from her, some he cultivated on his own. Those were dangerous words that he offered so lackadaisically, enough to seed a rebellion. Enough to get them all killed. “Sorry.” He lowered his voice. “What I’m trying to say is war can be profitable, but it’s never worth it. You always lose something. Karma’s gonna always take whatever you got back. History’s not worth repeating. We lost the territories for a reason.”
Moonlight squinted at the trees below, shooting an icy glare at the crows. “So, where is this friend of yours?” All I see are crows.
“Wait, is your friend a crow?” That’s basically treachery. There’s a reason why I didn’t trust that crow that was with that wattled pigeon.
No. That’s unbelievable. It’s not a crow.

"Alright, sounds good." Orbit smiled. She started floating in the water.

(I forgot about Ritz Crackers...)
Ritz awoke and splashed the cool, salty water over his face and back before dipping beneath the waves, coming back with a thin, silvery fish thrashing in his beak.
He gulped it down and noticed the raucous noise of the gulls that had just alighted on the tumbled grey stone of the shore. He recognized Trout, but... he peered at the other gull. Her flight was labored, and it seemed to be favoring wing. He didn’t recognize her. I can’t believe I can live here for my whole life and still not know every gull there is. I really need to associate with other types of gull more often. Maybe she’s from the junk yard.
Ritz flapped his wings to get the proper momentum going before he sailed on the rushing air currents toward the place where the other gulls were.
“Are you alright?” he asked bashfully. The gull wasn’t a large one, but she was still a great deal bigger than him. He felt like he had to look up, especially since he had descended on a lower rock.
“Great!” Orbit said with relief. She landed softly on the shore. “Is this it?” She wondered.
*Nanako darted after the gulls.*
“Ritz. Ritz Crackers.” Hi. I’m Ritz Crackers. I hate being alone. Did you know my type nest in trees? Think. Of something smart to say.
Ritz winked a gleaming black eye, in an awkward way. Did I just use my third eyelid to wink?
Hey, are you ok?”
(Lol he’s not flirting he’s just very awkward.)
“Nice to meet you!” Orbit said to Ritz. “I’m not quite okay. A pigeon attacked my wing, I don’t know what I’m going to do.” She paused. “Trout brought me here, do you know him?”
"Yeah, thank you." Orbit said with no emotion. "You're right, I should get some sleep." She smiled, then looked behind her. "Trout? Trout?" She looked around. "Where did he go?" Orbit nervously asked.

Meanwhile, Trout had wandered away. He was currently trying to extract a piece of hamburger from a rocky crevice. He was so engrossed in his mission that he didn't notice the others going to the water.
When he was finally finished in his impossible task, having been unable to grab the burger, he looked up. "Hey, does anyone have any-" Trout looked around wildly. "Guys?!"

"Not quite," Blizzard answered in a vague tone.
"There it is," he tucked in his wings and began a downward descent towards an old, large oak. He landed at the immense roots and knocked on the trunk with his beak. It sounded surprisingly hollow. The cluster of leaves and twigs at the base of the tree suddenly shook, and a large black beak poked out, soon followed by a large black bird. "Hello, Blizzard!" Cat-Eyes greeted cheerfully.

With one quick scan of the shore, Ritz spotted Trout, who was displaying an unusual amount of focus for a gull.
“Over here, Trout!” Ritz said, splashing in the water. He gestured to Trout’s newfound lady friend.
~
Moonlight landed on a branch, arraying herself in a graceful imitation of her general’s cool poise. Moonlight looked perhaps a bit better doing it with all of her claws intact.
“Moonlight, lieutenant under the direction of General One-Toe.” she cooed, her eyes narrowed with distrust as she sized the large crow up. She’s bigger than me, and I don’t have my razor talons, but she also doesn’t appear to be a threat.
“What is your name, crow?”

Trout hopped over, not finding it necessary to fly. "I will go find Blizzard. The healer." He informed them. He lifted a foot to scratch a loose feather out. Those pigeons sure are good at pulling out feathers.

"Cat-Eyes," she said, still keeping her cheerfulness despite the suspicion of her new visitor. However, she did give a curious look at Blizzard, before stepping aside and pushing away the last of the leaves. "I hope you aren't here to arrest me." She cawed amusedly.
