Sebastian flew off. Ritz was still standing on the rock where Sebastian had left him, trying to look dutiful. Sebastian landed beside him and relayed 'Fish Sticks' orders' succinctly.
"Ritz. By the direct order of our leader, Fish Sticks, you must fly back to Cement's gang. Tell her that the gulls will ally with her, but not without just reward.
Our demands are thus: the gulls must, in some way, return to the city. There are two ways this can be accomplished. We will prevent the coup from happening and demand General One-Two to allow us to live in the city. Or, if General One-Toe is removed by the coup, the superior power of the gulls will abolish the provisionary government that our enemies wish to establish and we will instead establish Cement as the pigeon leader. Do you understand, Ritz?"
"Perfectly, sir!" Ritz said, a bit intimidated by Sebastian's ability to form so many orders without hesitation.
"Then go speak to Cement."
"Sir yes sir!" said Ritz, saluting awkwardly and not even certain whether a salute was necessary. He flew off the way he had gone not long before.
