~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

(Gosh XD )
Russet drew closer to Cement. He had seen death before, but it was hard to watch a silly, stupid gull end in such a way. “He’s dead?” he asked. He honestly didn’t know whether the fight was supposed to be a fight to the death.
Riski turned away sadly, very sad about the death of his friend and also plotting his escape if things went wrong.
(I mean, what did you expect from Oyster XD)
Cement nodded slowly. “Appears so.” She murmured.

Vaatras strutted to the front of the crowd, shoving other gulls out of the way.
“I’m lead gull now!” He squawked loudly. “Anyone else hava problem and I’ll throw you off the cliff like I did to that weakling!” He continued, gesturing at the waves behind him with one wing, accidentally smacking a gull in the face as he did so.
“For my first order,” Vaatras went on, looking smug, “I will-” he turned his eyes to the pigeons, voice full of contempt, “get ridda the alliance with those wretched notguls!”

He cocked his head to the side. "What were the old ways like..?" Yuno questioned politely, yawning a little and tilting his head back, trying not to be rude.
Barnacles narrowed his one eye at Yuno. “I can’t see ya well, but even my old eye can see ya yawnin’, youngster.” He cawed. “Been ramblin’ for a while. Isn’t it time you headed where you were goin’?” He questioned, not rudely.

His eyes widened a little. "Actually, now I can't remember where I was planning to go." He crowed, now a little embarrassed, and he glanced at his feet.

Barnacles cocked his head. To be honest, he had forgotten where the crow wanted to go, too. “Ah, you’ll figure it out.” He cawed in an almost dismissive fashion. “If ya need any help, I’ll help ya, mate.” He added.

"Mhmm.." He nodded, hopping around in a confused fashion, blinking every couple seconds. I still can't remember-... why do I have to have the worst memory in the world? This is embarrassing.. He continued hopping around sadly.

Russets crop inflated like a balloon. “Y-you can’t do that!” he sputtered. Despite the fact that he could do that.
He glanced around at him, wondering whether the gulls were going to kill him at once or simply escort him to the border.
“You can’t do that, because, because you don’t know where One Toe dwells!” Hopefully. “And you don’t know a proper strategy for defeating the pigeons. You’ve only declared war yesterday, with no clear plan of attack, from what I’ve heard.” Also, I don’t think we can defeat One Toe without the gulls, and this gull is too much of a threat to Cement!
Hopefully this gull would consider his argument and not... what if he tortures Cement to get answers out of me?

Barnacles cocked his head, his one glaringly yellow eye watching Yuno with some suspicion. After several seconds of the pathetic performance, he couldn’t take it any more. He sighed in defeat.
“Ah, bloody ‘ell, I’ll help ya, kid!” He cawed in exasperation. “I’ll take ya where you want to go.”

Cement considered their options. The gulls were argumentative types, so they might have enough time to quietly slip away before they noticed. That is, if they avoided attention. Which could be difficult, considering Russet’s inclination towards confrontation. Ah, Russet. She needed to warn him not to-
It was at that moment that Cement realized that Russet had already spoken up in protest of Vaatras’ undiplomatic ways. Being absorbed in thought certainly wasn’t helpful today.
“Rus, we should just go.” She cooed softly, unable to hide the disappointment in her voice that stemmed from the apparent dissolution of the pigeon-gull alliance. Though they had bigger problems at the moment. Vaatras had noticed them, and he had a rather dangerous look to his face.

“I can.” Vaatras squawked. He strutted up to the pair, shoving the few gulls out of his way that didn’t part on their own. He stared at Russet as he explained his reasoning, but boredom only joined the contempt in his face.
“Those are all jus’ words! Shut up and scram, ya dirty notgul!” He raised his wings aggressively. “Gulls don’t need nobody but ourselves.” He puffed himself up as if he had just said something very intelligent.

While Vaatras hadn’t even thought of torture, Oyster definitely had. And the way she was staring at Russet and Cement suggested that she was strongly considering it.

“Well this was a worthless trip!” Russet said, kicking a rock and sending it skidding over a precipice, splashing into the water below. “If anything, coming here only made things worse.” He flapped his wings and rose above the hill. Gulls are anything if not stupid. Their first leader was stupid and kind, and this one’s stupid and mean. It’s not very much to ask for to have a gull equaling my intelligence, is it?

Riski, meanwhile, was locating the nearest exits in case he was the next one told to “scram.”
