Hugs to you and glad you are on the mend.I've been sick with a fever since Thursday, but am feeling a little better. Chicks are fine, I've checked on them daily.
Keep getting better!I've been sick with a fever since Thursday, but am feeling a little better. Chicks are fine, I've checked on them daily.
I'm sorry you've been sick, but glad to read you are feeling better.I've been sick with a fever since Thursday, but am feeling a little better. Chicks are fine, I've checked on them daily.
The right to food is written into the Constitution. I would argue it comes from the 9th and 10th Amendments, among others.I truly hate when this happens.
I am one of those who believes that government does not want us to be self-sustained. BYC movement are not encouraged. Big commercial egg/meat productions can afford to cull and they do not care about avian flu immunity as it hurt small business more.
Two recent examples on government want us to rely on them:
-- Berkey is an amazing water filter. It benefitted so many people yet they are being bothered by nonsense. Here they are suing EPA back: https://www.bigberkeywaterfilters.com/blog/berkey/BERKEY-WATER-FILTERS-SUES-THE-EPA
-- Amos Miller is an honest amish farmer. They have been harassed by the federal and state government and has to put a pause on their business for now. My husband buys cheese from them, but he has to look for a different resource for now.
I wish the right to food was written in the constitution.
Your diversion is understood. The right to food is written into the Constitution. I would argue it comes from the 9th and 10th Amendments, among others.
We need to not blindly accept what unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats dictate. They have been doing some outrageous things and know they can generally get away with it.
As I read this, much later (sorry), there are signs that the silent majority in this country are fed up with big, overbearing government.
Sorry for the diversion into politics. Sometimes I can't help myself.
Most of my big girls staying out of the rain.Your diversion is understood.
Now you need to post a chicken photo as "tax" to pay for your diversion.![]()
This does seem like a Shadrach rule though. But only fair, since I love seeing everyone else's chicken picturesMost of my big girls staying out of the rain.
And below that, my 2 little Polish in their very own run with their roost bar tree, where no one can pick their floofy little heads
