Cleaned my shed yesterday, NOW I should be able to locate things.

Before

After!

I have a little more sorting to do, but it's wonderful to actually walk into the shed. And find stuff.

A friend gave me 18 free range chicken eggs she got from a neighbor. I used some of them for Christmas pies, but still had a bunch. I recalled that earlier in 2025 I'd purchased a silicone storage container. I beat the eggs slightly, put two in each compartment, and placed it in the freezer. I can use those for cooking and baking.

It’s too cold for that! Better wait til May, or is it June-ish in the UP!?

Yes spring doesn't start here until May. April is still cold and snowy

A friend asked me to save coffee cans for her, so the pile is not as big now.

Boy does it feel good.

Handsome Joob Joob is growing up nicely, he is comically in charge of the two gigantic Erminette hens and calls them to eat treats. There does not seem to be any issue with my other rooster, but I notice JJ cautiously hangs around the outside edges of the group.
