Fuzzy's Farm

Nova, my ex claims he can't work with his back like this. I knew it would get lowered, but that was just laughable. I made it pretty clear, though, that once I see payments coming through again that I would file for a support change. At any rate, he still has to pay the arrearage through August.

Gigi, is their new house near a lot of power lines or stations? I know high emf fields from them can make people (even animals) hyper sensitive and think their homes are haunted. There's even this thing they call a 'fear cage' that basically means there's an area completely surrounded by different emf fields and it boxes in an area. Anyway, our house is near a line of towers and you can literally hear them sizzling at times. And I will admit that there have been times when I've felt super nervous or thought I caught something out of the corner of my eye. That said, savannah's suggestion is worth a go if it will put your DIL at ease.

I found out today that a man walked into my DIL's house while she was giving the baby a bath. Just came in the front door that she had not locked. She heard him and came out of the bathroom and asked him 'what the h(*&(*:' he was doing and he said he was looking for a sick bird. Then he turned and walked out. She called the police but they said there wasn't anything they could do. I guess there is a bridge near their house where people do drugs underneath. It makes her really nervous also. They didn't tell me any of this cause they didn't want me to worry. Geeesh they were right ! They need a new house. No, Tee, no power lines although I know what you are talking about. I've seen cattle go all weird under them.

I'll tell them about the pastor. They have one who would do that I'm sure. I used to teach the cadaver lab to med students at OU and I've no doubt the building that housed the lab was full of ghosts. I'd go up there at night to prep for the next day and all kinds of weird stuff would happen. Glad I don't do that anymore. Haven't had one in bed - gee Nova...that's guaranteed to get your attention.\

Hung a fresh corn on the cob in the girls run today and talk about pure chaos. Those chickens LOVE fresh corn - LOL!

I had my first headache in weeks this afternoon. Actually had to take something for it and then took a nap which is also something I've not done lately. Felt crappy when I woke up, but feel better now.

Nova, are you planning on getting them checked out? Hope they're not weather related because, from the forecast, next week is going to be ugly. Hot and very humid. Which means my youngest DD is going to have a bad time of it and will be suffering. She has a stomach ailment that tends to pop up when the weather gets super hot and humid. She went through a bout this last week when it was humid. It just flattens her out and she can't do much of anything.

As for haunted houses, I've not had much of any experience other than things like the occasional things I mentioned before. Our house is old, though, so it wouldn't really surprise me if those things were a bit more than possible high emfs. I can tell you, though, I believe my grandparents old house was haunted. My grandfather died in that house and I was always creeped out there. And I swear to you every time I went by the basement door it opened. No fail every time whether I was coming or going that dang door would open. I would literally run past it when I was by myself.

Hello everyone!
I had good fun at CS and want to thank Robin for the new additions to my flock
I named them Garlic and Herb!!! LOL

I believe in ghosts/ spirits, but some weirdo walking in the front door is too much for me!

My eye has been twitching for days. I am totally stressed and I know that is the problem. The normal issues... BF, son, dogs... It just won't stop twitching!!!!!!!!!

BF heard Omlete crow for the first time this week... oopps...
He still hasn't said anything about Shawarma sitting on 2 more eggs... I swear after these 2 I am done hatching for the year!

Went to get the eggs out of the coop the other day and thought the eggs were speckled... they had mites on them!!!! Ewwwww!!! I went a little crazy and cleaned the whole coop out! Poor chickens! I know why they were running for the dirt in the morning!

I don't have much advice, i've tried everything and i still ended up moving the few times i've had to deal with this. It depends on whether it's a ghost/ spirit, or something more sinister. A pastor may be a good idea, if nothing else for emotional support since most others will laugh about it. I didn't start out believing in them, but when things pick up and go flying across the house at you, it kinda makes a believer out of you! I've never seen one but have been screwed with. Lights flicking on and off, doors opening, things getting broke, getting sick (yes, you can get sick for real too), radio stations changing, My clock getting changed (it seemed to like going an hour earlier, and an hour later..... things flying across the room, hearing and feeling an invisable (cat?), bird flying back and forth that wasn't there (I think these were old pets trying to get me to get up, since it seems that the sickness and terrible nightmares seemed to be part of trying to sleep............

I finally had to move. This one i had a picture of, from one of those old poleroid cameras. It was so clear that no one believed that it wasn't a pic of my DH, but it wasn't! That pic had a bad vibe even, it scared animals to be near it and DH finally tore it up and i think burned it.

BYFM, wow mites on eggs? Never happened to me, that would creep me out! Lol.. So guess you had to mite treat? I try to do it every little bit to keep problem own. It's awul In summer months. My girls are all back to laying after my experience with the two hens I took eggs from. No more broodys for me this summer either. I'm done with chicks for a while! I'd call pastor in on the ghost thing or spirit whatever it is. Have him pray all through house and perimeter of property. And I'd pray a prayer of protection myself also.
